I love the art on the walls but can I also just say… YOU HAVE A LOOM!!!! Best wishes for settling gently into your new space (physical & mental) xx
I do, I do! I snuck that in didn’t I! It has a long and well travelled history. Apparently I am the third owner, but the first took it around the world with her. This is the first time I’ve put a warp on her. I think she needs a name. Maybe Esther. Esther Eight Shaft.
how wonderful – you have an actual ‘space’. Loving the architraves – you must be in an oldish building?… and all those splashes of colour. I was squinting to try and see the work in progress on your loom. Might show the world my space sometime – I’ve taken over one end of the living room – it is a very productive/collaborative and ever-changing space: currently my worktable is inhabited by seedlings, watering cans, my laptop, the kids’ cardboard ‘Easter farm’ (I’m assured it is still ‘in progress’), a cat and two pairs of boots waiting patiently to be mended! …mostly I’m retreating to the spinning wheel by the fire…
We are in a Victorian era terrace with all it’s quirks. My loom is mid threading, i may have been procrastinating by taking these photos! I love your description of your current making space, so much variety!
I love this space, it looks stimulating and peaceful at the same time.
It was nice to have a fresh start too!
Lovely to have a loom. And such a beautiful space.
What a beautiful space you have; so clean and fresh, with some lovely bright splashes of cheerful colour. I feel creative just looking at it! 🙂
Thanks Carolyn, it feels like a fresh start!
